You can feel a light tingle, deep cleansing and tightening the face. Detoxifying, facial cleanse. This requires, diligently washing out. Smells amazing, refreshing.
I use this mask as part of my self-care nights during the week! It leaves my skin so soft, and clean. The tumeric does leave a slight residue behind, yet I haven't experienced it transferring to my pillow case only to my face towel that I dry my face off with after rinsing the mask off.
What a delightful mask! Initially, I was surprised at the contents. I did not expect to see an oily, sticky and "staining" paste that needed a brush to apply. I was used to powders that needed water which you mixed yourself before applying. I say "staining" because the turmeric is staining if you are not careful to not get it on light colored material. I have had wonderful results with this mask. It has helped greatly in the healing of my skin's first two epidermal layers and to balance their natural moisture levels. As Jennifer states, it does need to be followed with a moisturizer. Since I have had issues with rosacea, I use her face cream for that.
