If you have braids or dreadlocks, you may not wash your hair every day. Braided and locked hair often takes much longer to dry than hair that is not tightly bound together, making a daily shampoo impractical. To keep your hair from smelling musty and your scalp from feeling itchy, you can spritz it between washes with a cooling, homemade refresher spray. Essential oils and Irish moss soothe the sensitive skin of your scalp while imparting a fresh, clean smell to your locks or braids.

Ingredients: rosemary water, lemon juice, tea tree oil, peppermint oil, lavender oil, and sea moss.

Directions: Shake well before each use. Spray directly on the hair and scalp. Use within 3 months.

If there is anyone that is looking for a product that is 100% organic very effective and will never have your hair weigh down or sticky this a product you must get. This will be the only product I will be using for my locs.

I use many of Jennifer's hair care products. I have a lot of long, fine, wavy hair; not quite the type she originally created this product for! :) However, with washing my hair only every 2-3 days, this product does help greatly with keeping my scalp smelling fresh and not looking too oily in-between washes. I love to use it in the morning to help awaken up my senses with the refreshing smell of peppermint and tingling on my scalp. I spray it throughout my entire length to help untangle it all. My only complaint is that I wish it came in a larger size.
