About the Evening
We will be outside at our stage area (*the event will be moved inside if weather prevents)
…lights dim and the room gathers into a hush — the kind that only happens when souls know something sacred is about to begin.
Echos & Embers is your portal into a night of spoken word, shared healing, and collective remembering. We meet in that tender space where poetry becomes ceremony, and every voice becomes a spark.
Whether you come to listen, to breathe, or to read your own truth aloud, you’ll feel held in a circle woven with compassion, courage, and community.
Flow of the Event
7:00 PM — Doors Open & Welcome Ritual
Guests are greeted with warmth as they enter our space. You’ll find seating, low light ambience, and a soft invitation to settle into your body and prepare your heart.
7:15 PM — Opening Intentions
We begin with a grounding moment — a guided breath designed to drop us beneath the noise of the world and into the ember-glow of our inner voice.
7:20 PM — Featured Poetry Reading
Jennifer shares a piece or two from her own collection — writings born from her deepest seasons and shaped into medicine for anyone who has ever broken, risen, or bloomed again.
7:45 PM — Community Open Mic
This is your chance to take the mic and let your soul speak.
If you feel called to share a poem, a short reflection, or a piece of your story, you can sign up in advance using the link below, or place your name on the list at the door.
No experience required — only honesty.
8:30 PM — Closing Blessing
We seal the evening with collective gratitude and a moment of stillness, letting every word spoken settle like warm ash into the heart.
Guests are welcome to mingle, sip, shop, and connect with fellow creators after the formal program.
