Coleus

(Latin Name: Coleus forskohlii)

Size: 2oz bag

Brief History & Origin

Coleus, also known as Forskolin Root or Makandi, is a plant of vibrant green and purple leaves, rooted in the ancient hillsides of India, Nepal, and Thailand. For thousands of years, Ayurvedic practitioners have used Coleus to awaken inner fire—both physically and spiritually.

Traditionally, it was given to strengthen the heart, clear the lungs, and stimulate prana—the breath of life. In modern herbalism, Coleus is known for its power to open pathways—relaxing vessels, enhancing cellular energy, and helping the body remember its natural rhythm of expansion and release.
