Wild Betony 1oz

(Latin Name: Stachys officinalis)

(Also known as: Bishop’s Wort, Woundwort, The Healer’s Herb)

Brief History & Origin

Wild Betony is the Herb of Mind Peace, Heart Protection, and Energy Clearing, beloved by ancient Druids, medieval monks, and rootworkers alike. In Old Europe, it was said, “He who has Betony has no need of a doctor,” because it was considered a cure for both body and spirit ailments.

Wild Betony was planted at temple doors and graveyards to ward off evil spirits, bad dreams, and psychic attack. It was carried in pouches as a charm for courage, clarity, and peace of mind, helping warriors, healers, and the sensitive-hearted protect themselves from energetic drains. Its medicine teaches us to anchor our energy, clear our minds, and stand protected in our sacred work.
