Rose Hips

Size: 4 oz Bag

(Latin Name: Rosa spp.)
(Also known as: Fruit of the Rose, Heart’s Berry, The Vitality Jewel)

Brief History & Origin
Rose Hips are the Fruits of the Rose, ripening after the petals fall—symbolizing what remains after beauty fades: resilience, nourishment, and strength. Used since ancient times by Indigenous healers, European folk herbalists, and in African and Caribbean rootwork, Rose Hips are known as nature’s vitamin C powerhouse, supporting immunity, vitality, and longevity.

In spiritual practice, Rose Hips represent the alchemy of transformation—the beauty of the flower becoming the medicine of the fruit. They are used to strengthen the heart, protect the spirit, and infuse the body with gentle endurance. This is the medicine of post-bloom wisdom, teaching us to carry sweetness and strength into every season of life.
